COURSE TITLE: Uses, Applications & Advantages of Perforated Metal & Profile Wire

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

In this course, we explore architectural uses for perforated metals, wedge wire, and profile bar. The audience will gain insight into how this material is manufactured, designed, specified, and used in various applications. We will also explore its optimal uses as cladding, sunshades, ventilation grills, grating, entrance flooring; as well as other decorative elements.

COURSE LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of this course, the design professional will be able to:

• Discuss the benefits and cost effective design concepts for perforated metal, wedge wire, and profile bar.

• Rust prevention methods
• Learn gate options for best design per project
• Bracket options – hands on exercise

COURSE DESCRIPTION & OBJECTIVES:

• Determine what modifications can be made to the fence system for standards/codes/regulations.
• Understand different treatment methods for rust prevention in steel fences
• Learn gate design options to maintain a secure installation
• Knowing what bracket options are out there to reduce onsite changes which can lead to rust and breach of security.
